Freelance video editor by day; amateur photographer by night!

I've been an editor for the past 23 years now, including a 12 year stint working for the ITV network in the UK. I have worked on music promos, drama, quiz/variety shows, children's TV, corporate and promotional videos, title sequences and TV commercials both long and short form.

I have been freelance for nearly 3 years now, and in the spare time which that affords (!) I have re-discovered my love of photography, thanks to my good friend Laurie Jeffery, and to my brother Richard.

I have no aspirations to become a professional photographer - my love of it stems from it being a hobby. I love video editing - but mainly because I don't carry it over into my free time.

I approach the 2 paths the same way however - my deepest satisfaction comes from the encompassing term 'image editing' - the freedom and ability to play with images, fine tuning them until my fingers bleed and stopping only for coffee.
